Privacy Policy

How we collect, use and protect personal information — and the choices you have over it.

1. Who we are

Palette Technologies is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at info@palettech.com or at 3324 E Ray Road, #601, Higley, AZ 85236, United States.

2. Information we collect

  • Information you give us. Name, business email address, telephone number, company, role and the content of enquiries submitted through our forms or by email.
  • Engagement information. Where you become a client, the technical and business information necessary to deliver the agreed services.
  • Usage information. Pages viewed, referring page, approximate location derived from IP address, browser and device type, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

3. How we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and to scope, quote and deliver services.
  • To administer contracts, invoicing and payments.
  • To send service communications, and marketing where you have opted in.
  • To operate, secure and improve this website.
  • To meet legal, regulatory and professional obligations.

4. Legal bases

Where the GDPR or comparable law applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (delivering services you have requested); legitimate interests (running and securing our business, responding to enquiries, business-to-business marketing); consent (non-essential cookies and marketing email, which you may withdraw at any time); and legal obligation.

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers acting on our instructions — including our CRM and marketing platform (HubSpot), email and cloud hosting providers, and our professional advisers — and where required by law or to establish or defend legal claims. Providers are bound by contract to protect the information and to use it only for the services they supply to us.

6. International transfers

We are based in the United States and our providers may process information there or elsewhere. Where information is transferred out of the UK, EEA or another region with transfer restrictions, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. Retention

Enquiry records are kept for up to 24 months from last contact. Client engagement records and deliverables are kept for the duration of the relationship and for seven years afterwards, to meet contractual, tax and professional obligations. Information is then deleted or anonymised.

8. Security

We apply the controls we recommend to clients: least-privilege access, multi-factor authentication, encryption in transit and at rest, logging and monitoring, vendor review and staff training. No system is perfectly secure, but we take these obligations seriously and test our own environment.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port or restrict the use of your personal information, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. California residents may additionally request disclosure of the categories of information collected and may opt out of any sharing that constitutes a “sale” — we do not sell personal information. To exercise any right, email admin@palettech.com. We will not treat you differently for exercising a right.

10. Marketing

You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in any message, or by emailing us. We will still send necessary service communications relating to an active engagement.

11. Children

Our services are directed at organisations. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

12. Cookies

Our use of cookies and similar technologies is described in our Cookies Policy.

13. Changes

We will post any update to this policy on this page and revise the date shown alongside it. Material changes will be communicated directly where we hold your contact details.
